Kathleen O'Reilly

Kathleen O'Reilly wrote her first romance at the age of eleven, which to her undying embarrassment was read aloud to her class. After taking over twenty years to recover from the profound distress, she is now proud to finally announce her career - a romance author. Now she is the award-winning author of nearly twenty romances published in countries all over the world. Kathleen lives in New York with her husband and their two children who outwit her daily. Kathleen shares a little with us from her latest release Hot Under Pressure.

“Hot Under Pressure is a Harlequin Blaze that answers that long-suffering question: If air travel is going to be such a huge pain to deal with these days, can a single woman please sit next to a hot, single man who’s you know, nice? Sometimes (usually only in fiction), the answer is *yes*.I got the story idea when I was doing a lot of flying in 2007 and I spent as much time on the tarmac as I did in the air. After one really awful delay, I thought to myself, “Self, you know this getting stuck would make a great book plot. Two people grounded at the airport with nothing better to do it.” And voila, the book was born.”
